Kalpavriksham Trust, in association with Privaram Cancer Hospital, conducted a Cancer Awareness Talk at Kilambakkam Village with the goal of strengthening community awareness on cancer prevention. The program engaged 40 participants and highlighted the vital role of mammogram and Pap smear screenings in the early identification of breast and cervical cancers.Through an informative and interactive session, the speaker explained the screening processes, their safety, and their life-saving benefits, helping participants understand the importance of early diagnosis. The discussion encouraged attendees to take responsibility for their health and seek regular preventive check-ups.This awareness initiative focused on empowering the community with knowledge, promoting timely screenings, and fostering a proactive approach to long-term health and well-being.
